After a hugely successful 2024 with our 2yo’s which yielded a 50% 2yo winners to runners strike rate, three horses winning more than one race and Syndicates.Racing finishing the year as the number one syndicate in Ireland on prize money we’re very excited to bring you our freshman class for 2025.
We had three Far Above’s on the team last year, two of which won and one is a winner in waiting. Far Beyond was a brilliant horse for his owners in France amassing almost €50k in prize money and winning twice. He ran nine times from April right up to December and is on course for another big year this year.

Far Above The Law was another big success story breaking his maiden in July before being remarkably consistent placing 3rd (including a big pot nursery in York) on his next and final three starts of the season. He also began racing early in the season, 29th March, and ran right into September frequenting the racetrack on seven occasions. He’s a big burly horse and we expect a big year on the track from him this year.

After such success with a sire we love we were delighted to be able to restock with two belters at last years yearling sales. The above picture is the Far Above colt out of Ceaseless who’s brother, Mount Athos, won a Listed race in Deauville a couple of weeks after the sale meaning we wouldn’t have likely got near him had it happened pre-sale. He was bought in conjunction with Natalia Lupini who is a rising force in the Irish training ranks and a seriously shrewd operator. She actually outbid us in the ring but I quickly made a B-line to find her to see if we could partner up as I loved the colt. Thankfully she was delighted to have us on board.
The other was a regally bred, bonny race filly who is already showing up well with her pre-trainer. She’s sharp, fast and early and is joining last years successful partnership of Syndicates.Racing / Alice Haynes. Alice loved the filly at the sales and was keen to secure her and wanted us as partners again. After last years success how could we say no.

Last but certainly not least was the best value got all year. By the same sire as Blue Rose Cen, Vadeni, Ladies Church etc. this daughter of Churchill really caught the eye. Purchased for just 16,000gns at Tattersalls Book 3 she was the value play. I had her valued at and was ready to go to more than double that price for one of my picks of the year. Her dam was a blisteringly fast stakes performing 2yo and this lady is set to join the red hot in form trainer Stephen Thorne who is operating at 33% winner to runners over the past two weeks. Stephen is one of the newest trainers to the Irish training ranks this year but his wealth of experience seems to be paying off and he looks set to have a massive 2025.
