The Sunday Syndicates Post – Vol. 4, Issue 15

Gerri Colombe added yet another Grade 1 to his hugely impressive CV and in doing so gave Jana Colombe owners a great kick and a dream of what she could become. Gerri is tough as teak and stays all day, attributes which Gordon believes runs in the family as Jana is showing much of the same at home on the gallops. The daughter of Cokikoro is nearing a debut as we’re just waiting for the ground to dry out. If she can take us on half the journey that her older brother has taken his owners on then we’re in for one hell of a ride.

Diamond Boy ex. Kilbarry Medoc filly.

WhatsApp groups were hopping on Thursday as race after race there was some kind of pedigree update. Diamond Boy had a red letter day with Impare Et Passe taking a thrilling renewal of the Grade 1 Aintree Hurdle whilst his daughter, Diva Luna, struck in the Grade 2 Mares Bumper. We’re delighted to have two daughters of Diamond Boy as he is one of the most upqrdely mobile national hunt sires out there.

Jeu St Eloi filly.

Speaking of upwardly mobile sires, Jeu St Eloi’s stock also continues to rise. Kargese ran another storming race in the Grade 1 4-y-o Hurdle behind Sir Gino. She pulled far too hard but managed to still come second with the fuel gauge on empty at the elbow. We were delighted to have purchased the only Jeu St Eloi filly for sale at public auction last year and we cannot wait to see what Willie can unearth in her.

Waldpark ex. Aspidistra filly.

Henry had yet another super Festival and he nearly won the big one yet again with the legendary Minnella Indo. Bob Ollinger should have been promoted in the Aintree Hurdle and Hiddenvalley Lake ran a great race in the Liverpool Hurdle. Henry takes control of our Waldpark filly who is a half sister to the Grade 1 winning Adagio. She headed back to pre-training this week in great condition and could be our earliest national hunt horse to debut.

The breeze-ups have officially arrived. Osarus has come and gone and the Craven gets underway tomorrow. The breeze-ups have been a huge source of success in the past few years with Classic Winners, Royal Ascot winners and Group winners galore. They go from strength to strength every year as have we with our purchasing. We had our best year yet last year and we’ve had a huge response to this years intake so if you’d like to get involved and haven’t filled out the form please do so below. If you missed Jacks article during the week give it a read here to see how we’ve performed over the last few years.
