The Sunday Syndicates Post – Vol. 2, Issue 21

After a frustratingly slow start to the season our 2-y-o’s are now beginning to hit top gear and debuts look imminent. Fast Tara was due to debut on Derby weekend but a dirty scope paid heed to that plan and she was given a few easy days but is firmly back on track now and may be one for Oaks weekend. Our sole breeze-up purchase, now called Queen Maedbh, has been very pleasing in her work to date and has been given an entry in the barrier trails on Tuesday. Galway is the primary target for her at the minute and we’ll work back from that.

Freedom Falls blitzed up the Old Vic under Ronan Whelean on Saturday and looks to have really sharpened up in the last couple of weeks. She will have one more piece of work and we’ll look to get her started towards the second half of this month. There is one sole share remaining in her which we don’t expect to last much longer after publish.

Snowhaven being put through her paces in Commonstown.

Last but certainly not least is Snowhaven who went through a growth spurt in the last couple of weeks but now firmly looks back on track in Jessica Harringtons. She’ll hopefully get a spin up the grass next week and then we’ll look to the program book for a debut in the coming weeks. I don’t think we’ve ever had an update on TRM receive so many likes as the one above did so safe to say syndicate members are very excited about Snowhaven.

On the road to sell out

We’ve never had a better response to a National Hunt horse than that of our new Milan filly heading to Peter Fahey. She represents the tried and tested Syndicates.Racing winning formula that has taken us to the Cheltenham Festival every year since the beginning. We were delighted to secure her for the price we did and she has a big residual value as a broodmare after she is finished racing.

Relive Road To Respect’s Grade 1 victory in 2018. Can his half sister going on to emulate some of his great feats?

Breakfast With The Stars 2022

Come enjoy the fun of Irish Racing with Syndicates.Racing Week on us.

Delighted to announce we will be hosting Breakfast with the Stars yet again at Tinnakill House on Saturday morning at 11am on 23rd of July so please save the date and feel free to bring a plus one (or two). We’ll be showing off Grangee, Cabaret Queen and her first foal, Lady Breffni, West End Victory, Munaajaat, Cabaret King, our new Milan filly (who will be sold out by then) and many more Syndicates.Racing stars along with a tour of the farm that raised State of Rest, this years Prince of Wales winner at Royal Ascot. Come enjoy a free brunch on us and see the syndicate stars of the past and future. We’ll be circulating a registration form in due course but just wanted to flag it for your diary as I know so many of you enjoyed it last year. It’s the Saturday before Galway where we expect to have runners so could be the perfect week to plan that Syndicates.racing holiday.

What’s more, we’re also delighted to announce Syndicates.Racing’s big trip to the races with free tickets for every owner to Naas Racecourse on Monday 1 August to round off a special week for the syndicate with a trip to the €300k Ballyhane Stud Stakes for those that want to give it the full monty. It’s hugely fun day at Naas and we’re delighted to bring you all there. We’ll have a form circulated in due course as a small thank you for support of team Syndicates.

July Sale

We’re on the scout again this week for something a little bit different. We’d love to find an unraced flat horse that we could compete as a dual purpose contender for the Willie Mullins/Syndicates.Racing axis. We’re also on the look out for a horse to try and win the new €600k Irish Casearwitch or maybe another Tonkinese, who knows. If there is anything in particular you would like to see us buy please let us know.

Supersub Samantha kicks of Kildare GAA syndicate

Samantha Maguire made her debut in Bellewstown on Thursday to get our new Kildare GAA syndicate up and running. Bellewstown is a very tricky track and her run was impeded at a crucial point but she stuck to the task in likeable fashion and looks like one who will provide us all with a lot of fun for the summer ahead whilst we await the return of Lily Maguire after her short spell on the sidelines.
