The onslaught in share sales continued during the week and after I published my article last weekend we completely sold out our Westerner filly. Understandably she is one that has us very excited given our track record with fillies of this type so well done to everyone that secured a share. We look forward to hosting a naming World Cup with her owners this week.
Owners enjoying their day out at the Curragh watching Cabaret King and our Westerner filly being put through their paces.
Attentions have now focussed on the few remaining shares in Cabaret King. There is now only 5% left in him which we expect to sell out this week. Both horses came out of their Curragh excursions well. The filly had been harbouring a little infection so she had a couple of easy days whereas the King hasn’t missed a beat. We’re very much looking forward to getting both horses into Willie Mullins in due course.
Stallion Trail
We’d love if you come along to join us on the Stallion Trail this weekend. Just drop Jack or John a message and we’ll give you a royal welcome on Friday or Saturday.
Fifty Stars
We are gearing up for this weeks Irish Stallion Trail where our new boy Fifty Stars will be on show at Sunnyhill Stud in Kilcullen. We’ve had a huge response to him and understandably so as a G1 winning son of Sea The Stars with a walk to die for. He will be getting an enviable book of mares from his ownership group and we’ve already sold breeding rights to some of the biggest national hunt breeders in the country. Take a look at the new promotional video that we launched for him this week. If you have a mare and you’re looking for the perfect mate come along this Friday or Saturday to take a look at Fifty Stars. Register to attend here or drop us a message and we’ll talk you through his credentials.

Far Above
He was a beast last year but my word has this horse let down well. He has everything you want in a sprinter. He’s short coupled, has a big strong shoulder, a powerful square behind, great depth, size and scope. If his foals come out looking like him there will be some very happy breeders. He has a very powerful group of breeding right holders behind him so he’s set to cover another very good book this year. Take a look at a selection of the 142 mares that he covered last year here. Far Above will also be on show this weekend at Starfield Stud in Mullingar. If you have a flat mare and are looking for the perfect partner then drop us a message and we’ll have a chat with you.

Breeding Syndicate Sold Out
Our first breeding syndicate is now completely sold out. Shares absolutely flew out the door and it’s not hard to see why. We purchased the gorgeous Lady Breffni in Tattersalls last year. Not only is she a knockout physical but she has the race record to match. She will visit Fifty Stars in 2022. If you’d like to be involved in a future breeding syndicate send Jack an email on jack@syndicates.racing.

Art Of The Mating returns
Jack will be back tomorrow night from 8pm with the Art Of The mating series. The first episode will be a spin-off on the blockbuster film Moneyball. Dubbed “Horseball” Jack will be joined by data analysts Tom Wilson to take a look at a data driven approach at buying racehorses. It should be a very interesting segment and if you would like to join in register your interest here.
Flat team taking shape
I went to visit out Fast Company filly in Conor Hoban’s yesterday and could not have been happier with her. She’s matured beautifully, has grown and strengthened and really looks like a filly that could give her owners a lot of fun this year. She’s a beautifully balanced filly with a fantastic walk, a lovely square hind end and a gorgeous head. She’s a filly that we expect to be relatively early who can progress throughout the year. She is to be trained by the superb Johnny Murtagh who we have a fantastic strike rate with. If you’d like to get involved click here to head over to her profile and secure your share today.

Foal Watch
The turn of the year means we’ll be seeing more and more new foals hitting the ground. I was lucky enough to get off the mark early this year with a lovely Wooded colt born this week. Wooded is an exciting FSS who is a G1 winning sprinter by Wotton Bassett standing at Al Shaqab in France. He is out of Salwa who is by the all conquering Galileo. Salwa is already the dam of the 83 rated, three time winner Al Hawra who is by Wotton Basset meaning our colt is a three parts brother to that filly. We’ll follow the progress of this fella throughout the year to give you an insight of what is involved in looking after a mare and foal.
