Who is she?
A queen of a Waldpark filly with a sibling who won a Grade 1 at the Aintree Festival. Her stable name is Walda.
Why her?
The first National Hunt horse we’ve ever had with Henry De Bromhead as we waited to find the perfect one. It, of course, is virtually impossible to emulate a filly like Honeysuckle but she has very Honeysuckle like credentials – same sale, both by proven stallions and both trained by Henry De Bromhead.
Where next?
Donie Murphy was entrusted to educate this mare and he was effusive in his praise for her. The only thing she did better then gallop was jump. Henry isn’t known for his bumper winners but this mare might be the exception to the rule. From there, we’ll look to let her guide us, safe in the knowledge that she’s only going to improve the more obstacles you put in front of her.
To be honest, we think the only hurdle from this filly giving you a good time is clicking that button below.
