Who is she?
An elegant daughter of one of Europe’s hottest stallions, Study of Man. Her stable name is Sarah.
Why her?
Sometimes at a horse auction you need to take a view on the market. We had a very strong one – Study of Man is vastly underrated. That view we made last October in buying this filly has been rewarded. Study of Man is now one of the most exciting stallions in Europe – not only that but his top three performers on Racing Post Ratings are fillies just like our lady. We feel a bit like Forest Gump buying Apple stock at the end of the movie.
What’s the plan?
Have you heard the phrase “slowly, slowly – that all at once”. That’s what our plan is for this filly. We are treating her like a god horse with loads of time and attention. We could see her in an Oaks trial next year if all went to plan. She has just recently joined the main yard of Ollie’s and he is building her towards a debut. It could be a lucrative debut – she’s eligible for a £20,000 GB Bonus.
