Who is she?
A daughter of the great Shirocco, just like one of the greatest mares of all time Annie Power. She’s part of the team of one of the most exciting emerging forces in Irish racing, Ross O’Sullivan.
Why her?
When our catalogue flicked to lot 288 at the Goffs Arkle Sale, we immediately stopped and marked down the lot number for inspection. It’s simply one of the great female families, nurtured by the Flynn family in Waterford for generations. She lived up to that page – just watch our video below. She’s ready to rock and roll for huge fun with a trainer that get on with anyone – we’re very excited to be back part of the stable and this is a hugely exciting filly to be part of his team.
What’s our plan?
Ross has set his sights at the Goffs Arkle Bumper at the Punchestown Festival. It’s an ambitious initial target but she has all the credentials for it – a mature physical, a pedigree that has thrived in bumpers and a trainer that knows how to deliver (did you see his select stable dominate Galway this year?). Regardless of making it to Punchestown, Ross will be developing her to give maximum fun to her owners with a pedigree for huge residual value when she’s finished a really exciting career ahead.
