Who is she?
Meet our Nathaniel filly with Willie Mullins. She’s by the sire of Enable that has also given us Concertista and Burning Victory – both Cheltenham Festival winners and both trained by the incomparable Willie Mullins.
Why her?
When you’re goal is to give our owners an edge in finding the best value horses possible that could be competitive at the highest possible level in our sport you always want to find something other buyers may have missed. We found something quite extraordinary when we delved into this pedigrees profile.
The obvious about her hits you between the eyes – she’s a gorgeous big walking daughter of Nathaniel the sire of one of the best fillies of all time in Enable. However, Enable was a freak and some pointed out a glitch in her pedigree that might have injected some of that brilliance – she was uniquely bred, by Nathaniel (a grandson of Sadler’s Wells) and out of a Sadler’s Wells mare. That level of inbreeding is hugely rare – in fact there has only been three fillies in the history of racing to be bred on those lines. One is Enable and the last is this filly we just bought.
What is the dream plan?
Nathaniel has already had two mares win at the Cheltenham Festival, it would be a dream for this filly to join that list. We’re going to leave no stone unturned into getting every bit of talent out of her. We are nurturing her towards debut in 2025 and from there we would love to see her build into a quality jumps performer giving huge days out for her owners. We’ll always have the option to pursue a dual career on the flat but for now we couldn’t be more excited to see a filly of this quality thrive with the best trainer of a jumps mare in history.
