Who is she?
A daughter of Maxios, the sire of Gaelic Warrior, her mother Antartica de Thaix was rated 151 by Racing Post making her one of the best mares of her generation.
Why her?
We teamed up with Gold Cup winning jockey Bryan Cooper (who loved her just like us) to find a suitable mare to trained by his dad Tom Cooper. Tom has one of the great records for a small trainer in Ireland – he trained one of the best bumper mares of all time in Cheltenham Festival heroine Total Enjoyment and he also trained the hugely popular Forpadydeplasterer. What a journey we’ll go on if this lady can follow in those hoofprints.
What is the dream plan?
We’d love to follow Total Enjoyment route – run a promising race early in the season and build from there through the incredible program for National Hunt mares in Ireland. Whatever happens we’re looking forward to having fun with Bryan, Tom and the whole team.
