Who is he?
A tank of a Far Above colt – we bought two Far Above colts last year – both won big, can we make it three in a row?
How is he?
He’s taking it all in his stride in his prep with Rodrigo Goncalves (the same man who prepped our highly successful Far Above colt Far Above The Law last year).
Why him?
It’s a family we know very well – we were with Kevin Blake when he bought his dam Ceaseless last year for our stallion Bouttemont. We were rewarded right away for our knowledge of the pedigree with this colt’s half-brother Mount Athos winning a stakes race (recording a Group 2 class Racing Post Rating of 113) at Deauville since purchase. He might have been twice the price if it happened before so we’re very excited to offer our owners such value.
What is the dream plan?
It was striking how much our Far Above colts last year could deliver early and yet keep progressing. We’ll be looking for more of the same from this colt with a busy campaign of action for his owners with a trainer that knows how to maximise their talent.
