Our annual open day brought owners to county Laois to see our next generation of stars strut their stuff. We had a farm tour, 10 new horses on show and a delicious breakfast from Phelan’s in Mountrath.
It’s always an exciting day for us as our jumps team finish their breaking in process and parade for our owners. They really caught the eye and the team has been very busy selling shares to very excited new owners.
We finished the day off with a trip to the Curragh where we had three runners – A Piece of Heaven (Joseph O’Brien), Rock N Roll Rocket (David Loughnane) and Fiona MacCoul (Jessie Harrington). Fiona MacCoul got the pluses racing with an excellent debut performance – she’s one for the notebook going forward.
